Impeccably clean and peaceful place with attentive staff that ca n't wait for the end of the shift. Magnificent, ideal location in Ambleside, just off the center, all the local pubs and bars and restaurants. About 15 minutes walk from Hayes Garden World Ambleside.

The breakfast was hearty, delicious with individually prepared and the boiled egg, for instance. It was based in spotlessly clean building in a perfect location, happy to share a wealth of information regarding the area.

Free parking and hearty and plentiful breakfast with generous portions. Comfortable bed in small double room with coffee and a TV set. Local area, central location very close to the shops, restaurants and pubs in Ambleside, places to eat and the Lakes.

This beautifully kept and peaceful hotel has ideal location close to all the shops, restaurants and pubs, the nearby hill, and Lake Windermere. Moreover, it's a 10-15 minute walking distance from a scenic 70-ft waterfall.

A wide array of options for breakfast in the dining room. The very pleasant staff that ca n't wait for the end of the shift. Great and lovely location for Ambleside, near the shops, Ambleside's pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants and hiking, restaurants and tours.

The room is good modern with marvellous views over the hills. The English breakfast is plentiful with plenty of meals. The hotel provides a friendly service.

The room was nice modern with with a comfy bed as well as a nice view, had good night sleep. Had coffee/tea makers and glassware at our disposal. Amazing central location just off local shops.

The hotel is perfectly located close to the centre. Within 1 km you'll find The Lily Bar, where you can drink something. The breakfast is varied and plentiful, and the location is fantastic just next door to a haven of peace, and also parking available.

The location was marvellous, within easy walking distance of Ambleside Roman Fort. The place had a quiet atmosphere.

We would love to come back next year. The hotel is homely with a quiet ambience, our stay was fine. The breakfast is sensational and plentiful with plenty of things to eat and drink. The location is unbeatable, 2 km from a scenic 70 - ft waterfall. The service is exceptional, includes easy parking.

Overall it was a great stay for three nights. The room was fantastic and having an iron/ironing board, tea/coffee making equipment and a work desk in it was handy. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The hotel was in a great and brilliant location, happy to share a wealth of information regarding the area.

Enjoyable and incredible breakfast with views of the surrounding fells, and the staff was exceptionally nice. The venue was set in the very central position just next door to centre of town and wonderful restaurants, bus stops.
